nCloth...

This week did work with nCloth. The tutorials that we did gave us the basics of what can be done with nCloth. nCloth simulations are pretty simple to set up, and can achieve some pretty cool effects. We created a flag and some tearable cloth. I think this is going to come in handy for my final film. In my film I need to have a hand press into a wall and make it bow out like there is something moving behind it. I did some tests and came close to getting it to look the way that I wanted. It still is going to take some and testing, but I am getting closer. For this weeks homework we have to come up with a simulation using nCloth. I created an obstacle course using nCloth objects. Used the water preset and had some interesting results. I want to playa around with it some more. I looked up some water effects online and came across this video. It’s not perfect, but it is pretty realistic.
